All apprentices
Towards the end of your apprenticeship, there will be an End Point Assessment (EPA) to complete. Each apprenticeship has its own EPA criteria and form of assessment e.g. interview; exam; project; portfolio assessment; professional discussion.
The EPA will be completed by an independent organisation and this will be organised by your training provider. Your training provider will not put you forward for EPA until you are ready.
Depending on which apprenticeship you are completing, you may also be eligible for membership of a related professional body.
Apprentices who have a fixed term contract
Your department should keep you informed about whether there is a permanent job for you at the end of your apprenticehship. If there is not a suitable vacancy in your own department then your line manager will support you to look for other opportunities within the University.
